UPDATE: Autopsy of America: The Death of a Nation

Sometimes books need to be updated for minor corrections, and our book, “Autopsy of America: The Death of a Nation,” is no exception. The most important update has been corrected by the publisher to correctly attribute the portion listed below, describing Victor Gruen’s speech on page 45, to writer Jason Kottke, who operates kottke.org. Accordingly, my publisher and I have both spoken to Jason to let him know he has been properly attributed, and Jason was more than understanding with the publishing error.

Additionally, the publisher added a bibliography to the book to list Jason Kottke’s sources that he used for his story, which was partly from another story that The New Yorker’s Malcolm Gladwell wrote about Victor Gruen on page 2 of the book.

Victor Gruen’s quotes from his speech is considered part of the public domain and considered fair use.
