Some of the trains were auctioned and purchased by private collectors. The most notable is a collector that lives in Windber, Pennsylvania. Seph Lawless’ photos of the Trolley Graveyard have went viral all over the world in 2015. The photos even appeared on the television series Abandoned, which documents abandoned America.
